![]() Normal research: Researching vehicles goes as follows if the target is higher tier than the vehicle you are using then: 1 tier/rank above or same tier/rank 100 RP earned is used in vehicle research. This allows you to not suffer, especially since 5.3 is quite a bit of a hellhole and is. Basically, this means that they negate the research penalty that would normally be present. ![]() So it is better to research and buy (but not use 5.3 vehicles yet) until you have at least 2. Bringing 3.x/4.x tanks in 5.3+ matches is a big no no. Generally speaking, Talismans are great for Tier lV because (as long as you do well in the vehicle) they're cheaper than a premium vehicle at tier IV (in most cases) and you can get a bonus to the RP gain to get tier V vehicles. What I would do (and recommend) is to build a stable lineup first, which will be used to grind 5.3 vehicles. Take this with a grain of salt, I'm not 100% but this is what I've noticed and with my basic math skills I could be off a bit. So, if the vehicles you are using are only effective on tiers l-lV, then by researching tier V you're losing a percentage of RP(if these premiums are rank lll or less). (Ex- B-25 gives 130% research boost if you're trying to unlock the B-17E. The previous vehicle to the one you're trying to research oftern gives a 130% research bonus as well. A non-premium Rank IV vehicle will instead say III - V ranks, and researching. Meaning that it's effective 1 rank up and all below, which is the full 1.0 modifier on the chart. For example, a Rank IV premium will say at the bottom: Max vehicle research efficiency: I - V ranks. Vehicle RP then can get various modifiers (a bit of a bonus if its 'Efficient Research', aka youre researching the next vehicle in the same line, or a penalty. Look at the stat card, it will show you the effective research ranks. At the base level, you get the same amount of both Module RP and Vehicle RP at the end of the match. Premiums give 100% effective research on whichever tiers they say they are effective at on stat card. You get the same amount of RP regardless of whether the vehicle is spaded or not. Researching vehicles goes as follows if the target is higher tier than the vehicle you are using then:ฤก tier/rank above or same tier/rank = 100% RP earned is used in vehicle research how does this make any sense I get that vehicles have the whole 'Max vehicle research efficiency' and that researching below your tier does this but how in the hell does it make sense. Basically, this means that they negate the research penalty that would normally be present. Attached is an image of a game i just had in the type 10 did pretty well 7 kills no deaths with premium and we won. You said you're using two premiums that are effective on ranks l-lV. Efficiency in earning RP varies depending on rank. ![]()
